A wisecracking, streetwise veteran cop (Franz) gets into one scrape too many on his beat, and is reassigned to the Mounted Division, where his new partner is a rodeo rider, drafted in for his experience with horses. The Chief Of Police is not convinced the Mounted Division is worth keeping running, and matters are not helped when the first case the pair report is an escaped, stolen tiger!
